The Setup

Imagine a time when myths and legends walked hand in hand with reality. Our story kicks off in ancient Italy, a land of rolling hills and dense forests. Back then, the region was a patchwork of small tribes, each with its own customs and rivalries. Among these people were the Latins, and it's in their midst that a tale of epic proportions begins.

Meet Romulus and Remus, twin brothers fated for greatness and tragedy. Born of royal blood, their mother was Rhea Silvia, a vestal virgin, and their father was Mars, the god of war himself. But destiny had a rocky start for these two. As infants, they were abandoned and left to drift away on the Tiber River, thanks to a king's fear of their potential claim to his throne.

But fate had other plans. Rescued and famously nurtured by a she-wolf, the twins grew up with the wild freedom of the forests, instilled with strength and cunning. They were destined to build a city that would change the world forever, but first, they'd have to overcome each other.
